Releeshahn is an Age written by Atrus to be a home for survivors of the Fall of D'ni. The word relESan[?] means "the whole" in D'ni, after the principle of the whole taught to Atrus by his grandmother, Ti'ana.

[edit] Origins
Initially, Atrus intended the D'ni survivors to restore the Cavern and resettle there. During that process they found the book of Terahnee and after their experience there, Atrus decided to abandon the plan. Atrus then started to write a new Age. Catherine provided him with inspiration, pointing to him J'nanin, which he used to teach their sons the principles of Age authoring years ago.
[edit] Completion
When Releeshan was complete, Atrus asked Tamon to secure the book with a nara lock. However it was not enough; its link was at stake when Saavedro, a man from Narayan who suffered from Sirrus' and Achenar's malevolence, abducted the Linking book to force Atrus solve his problem in his Age. The Stranger who was present at that time, managed to help Saavedro and returned the book to Atrus.
Little is known of Releeshahn's society and history after its founding. The D'ni reconstructed their old Guild system like that of D'ni (and Garternay) and it is not known how similar it was to the original one.
The linking zone is a large platform. A pathway leads from this platform, presumably to the city. A tall spire can be seen in the distance from the platform. The rest of Releeshahn is mountainous and grassy.
[edit] Background
The book cover is decorated with D'ni which spells ril måloeta me kåmto komalaet[?] (ril maloetah me kamto komahlahet), which means "We must not forget from whence we came."
[edit] Appearances
[edit] Featured
- The Age is seen briefly at the end, with a view of a large valley with some sort of pillar in the middle, and mountains on the horizon.
[edit] References
- Rescuing and returning the Age's descriptive book to Atrus is the premise of the game. However, the actual Age remains inaccessible. A journal is given to the Stranger in which Atrus had recorded his thoughts on how best to Write the Age.
