Nara

Nara is a metallic gray stone, the hardest of all D'ni materials, with a density thirty times that of steel. It was first created in 5307 DE ^{(2349 BC)} by the Miners and Stone Masons using fusion-compounding technology. According to the Book of Ti'ana, "The [fusion-compounder] reconstitutes the very matter of the rock, reforging its atomic links and thereby reducing its volume by a factor of two hundred. The result is nara."^[1]

The first known case where nara was made to break, was by Sirrus, using natural properties of the Age of Spire.
