From MYSTlore
This page is written from an OOC point of view. Events and elements surrounding the Myst Universe are regarded as fictional.
Marty O'Donnell is a musician and sound designer who worked on sound design, foley work and mixing on Riven. Prior to Riven, which was his first time working with audio in a game, he played in rock bands and wrote advertising jingles. He came into contact with Cyan through Josh Staub. Marty later went on to Bungie, working on the soundtrack for such titles as Halo and Halo 2.
Among Myst fans, he is probably most famous for giving the name to the Ytram frog in Riven, which is "Marty" spelled backwards.
