Loshemanesh was a King of D'ni from 4291 DE (3365 BC) until his murder in 4438 DE (3218 BC). His main concern was the way some of the D'ni people treated ahrotahntee and he passed a number of laws punishing illicit interaction. Although he did not want to discourage all contact with other societies, many D'ni argued for complete isolation.

Loshemanesh was assassinated by the same faction that had engineered the Yimas crisis (either the Light of D'ni or the Blood of Yahvo). The throne passed to his nephew Ji.
