King Lanaren

Lanaren (lanaren[?]) was a King of D'ni who reigned 5701 - 5999 DE (1955 - 1657 BC).
One of the first actions of Lanaren's reign was to denounce the murder of Gish and to disband the Relyimah, who his father had used in the assassination. He also promised to eliminate ahrotahntee involvement with D'ni, a promise largely made in order to prevent certain religious factions from becoming contentious.
He was responsible for building the Lanaren district.
He also started an ambitious project to build a tunnel connecting Ae'gura with the City Proper, but this was never finished, partially due to the fear that such a tunnel might affect the algae in the lake.
