Keta

Leira (later known as Keta), of the Amad people, was the wife of Gehn.
Not much is known about her life or relationship to Gehn. She offered him a photograph portrait of her with the signature To Gehn, my husband and my salvation. I dedicate myself to the love that rescued me. although it is not known from what danger Gehn saved her. Perhaps she considered how Gehn took her from her primitive people and introduced her to his life.
Keta left a love message on an Amad cage-imager to Gehn in D'ni language, which Gehn kept in Riven and afterwards in Age 233 to remember of her.
She had complications during her pregnancy. Gehn consulted Anna for a cure but she was unable to help her. She died giving birth to Atrus. She is buried in the Cleft where blue flowers have sprouted over her grave.
