The D'ni Art of Bookmaking[1] is the process of creating descriptive books. The books are made from a specific wood, cut from a tree and treated with various chemicals. The wood is then shredded, boiled into pulp, and treated with more chemicals and organic fibers. The last step is taking this mixture and rolling it with a book press.

Another important item for the writing of the books is the ink, which is also created from special ingredients that create the link connection.
