Aurack was an Age used for illegal hunting by the D'ni. It contained a vast forest into which dangerous predators would be released, then hunted and killed before the Maintainers made an inspection.
Atrus searched for survivors of the fall of D'ni here but found none, and his assistant Meer was killed during the search.
